The worst flooding in the Midwest in 15 years has swamped vast sections of the U.S. farm belt, forced tens of thousands of people from their homes and caused at least one billion dollars in damage. Several charities have established special funds and sent disaster teams to the area.
Your donation today will help these charities continue to provide shelters, clean up supplies and meals for the victims along the Mississippi. Please designate your donation to Midwest Flood Relief or as indicated below in parentheses.

According to Reuters Alertnet, more than 850 million people around the world go to bed hungry every night. Most of the world's hungry are not short of food because of a one-off disaster or crop failure but because of chronic, long-term poverty and food-price increases.
Help families get the food they need to survive by making a donation to one of the charities below providing support. Also consider monthly giving so that your contribution can continue to help communities around the world in the months ahead.
