Help the VA Tech community

You can remember and honor the victims of the tragic events by making a donation to the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund. The fund was established by the university to aid in the healing process and generate financial support.

Money raised will be used to cover expenses such as:
Assistance to victims and their families
Grief counseling
Memorials
Communication expenses
Comfort expenses

You can also spread the word about the memorial fund by adding the charity badge at right to your website, blog or social networking page; all you have to do is click on "copy" and you can display the badge anywhere online.

Our prayers are with the entire Hokie Nation family (My dad and grand dad are Hokie Aluimn). In the midst of your confusion may you grieve hard for your losses, and celebrate Fully the lives that are missed...

My entire families' prayers go out to the Hookie community. I think we all need to pray for the victims and also find a way that we can act upon our thoughts; such as making charitable donations, etc. I know that I am going to set up a company funding account in the very near future and give as much as money as I can on a regular, traditional basis, so that VA Tech can continue on with it's pride and educational programs that have assisted so many people throughout their existence.

Our firm has already set up a charitable fundraising event, with a target range of $150,000 USD, within the next six (6) months. Hopefully, with the assistence of God, we shall not only obtain that target but excceed it. Thereof, 100% of this money shall go directly to "The Virginia Tech. Memorial Fund", as they can then distribute the money to all of the victims' families for a plethora of needed and well deserved services! Bruce Profaizer
