Continuing to "help" in this City-below-sea level is a ridiculous farce.

Despite the previous "Anonymous" commentor's thought posted at 4:33 AM (maybe he / she should get some sleep instead of leaving unintelligble comments), this situation CANNOT be conquered. If you build below sea level, mother nature will ALWAYS return to claim her property.

It's beyond apalling that somehow my taxpayer dollars get spent to pump up this charity zone.

The only help I can provide is prayer, but I would also suggest that just maybe it is time to re-locate New Orleans.
How many times will you rebuild? and at what cost to everyone else around the country who's insurance rates go up.
I find it very dificult to feel sorry for anyone who builds on the bank of a river. and especially so when they rebuild in the same place after losing it to flood.

But if you are determined to rebuild. Get rid of the decadence and just maybe the wrath of Yah will pass you by the time!!

Merlin and anonymous. I hope your prayers are better informed than your research. Maybe you just like flapping your piehole to prove how utterly ill informed and ignorant you are. Most of the damage from Gustav occured inland due to power lines being toppled and gas lines being uprooted. Check out Entergy's web site for details. Most of the damage is in the Baton Rouge area, not New Orleans. Maybe you should spend more time in self reflection and understanding than flapping your pie hole about how unfair you think life is. You are a moron and justice wojld be served if your fingers were amputated so your uninformed litle mind couldn't blog anything.
